Spicy Mix

$3.00–$5.00

What is spicy mix? Spicy mix is a flavorful blend of arugula, mustard greens, and mizuna. It has a clean bold taste without being overwhelming. Great alone or mixed with other salad greens.

Snacks

$0.00

Instead of a bag of chips for your mid afternoon snack, try a mini bag of pea pods. They're very crunchy, full of vitamins, low sodium, and won't clog your arteries. Probably fewer calories also.

Fresh produce , grown with lots of worms and compost, produce veggies that are not tasteless. They are worth the money that you pay for them. The convenience of a quick stop means not so much food is rotting in your refrigerator from your once a week trip to one of the supermarkets. Eat more veg and enjoy it more --shop at locally at DJ farm stand.

DJ’s is a class act! Just to look at the stand itself, speaks to the quality and purity of the food products sold. If you stop to look, you will buy, and when you buy, you will never regret your purchase. Try a tomato!

This is Real Food

I don’t poison my food or yours.
DJ’s Farm is managed using traditional, sustainable, biological methods and as many reusable supplies as possible. My goal is to tread lightly on our Earth while producing amazing food.

Plants are grown in soil, amended generously with compost, worm castings, and natural fertilizers. Pest control methods include low-till management, mulches, fabrics, predator species, and traps. Least toxic effective insecticide sprays are used only as a last resort. Herbicides are never used under any circumstances.

Harvests are frequent, offering the freshest, tastiest, produce possible, with lots of vitamins and minerals. No fossil fuels are used to transport DJ’s produce, as the farm is within walking distance. That’s local! For your convenience, I offer some other items produced by local folks with similar practices.
